It\u2019s the first day of the Semester.<\/p>\n
A walk into a group of unknown ,<\/p>\n
Your heart thumps with nervousness,<\/p>\n
How are they going be\u2026 you never know..<\/p>\n
There are eyes staring at you from across the hallway,<\/p>\n
Blunt and confused,<\/p>\n
Waiting for you with eagerness<\/p>\n
And waiting to discover the unknown you,<\/p>\n
There is a certain level of confusion on both the ends of the road,<\/p>\n
They want to know you but you are so unknown to them,<\/p>\n
You see yourself as a teacher,<\/p>\n
Whose Job is just to teach.<\/p>\n
They see you as a teacher who shall be available for them to reach.<\/p>\n
The initial exchanges of courtesy and you are still trying to learn their name.<\/p>\n
They are nervous to approach you but both know we are in the \u00a0same game.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been a week; a month and things seem to mellow down,<\/p>\n
The tides once at their zenith seem to have calmed down.<\/p>\n
The exchanges become lighter and class becomes brighter.<\/p>\n
The shells begin to crack and the cocoon seems to open<\/p>\n
The butterfly seems to flutter and inhibitions seem to be broken,<\/p>\n
The classes are fun now for them and for you,<\/p>\n
And evenings are about missing for them and for you,<\/p>\n
The initial nervousness seems to have been replaced with excitement,<\/p>\n
Even Saturdays are about looking forward towards Mondays,<\/p>\n
Thinking of \u00a0them is about thinking of you,<\/p>\n
And you are the only one who understands.<\/p>\n
As the months go by you understand,<\/p>\n
Students fill in the vacuum which only a teacher can understand.<\/p>\n
