Counsellors' Conclave: Fostering Dialogue and Growth

The Counsellors' Conclave, hosted by the Department of Psychology at IILM University, Greater Noida, brought together school counsellors, psychologists, and educators for two enriching days of learning and reflection on 26–27 June 2025.

Dr Anupama Srivastava, Dean, opened the event, highlighting the university's commitment to nurturing counsellors as catalysts of change. Vice Chancellor Dr Taruna Gautam reaffirmed the institution's dedication to mental health and holistic education, stressing its role in supporting those guiding students.

Microsoft Summer Internship Training Programme

From 21st to 28th May 2025, the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University gurugram conducted a Microsoft-certified internship programme.

Students were trained in:

  • ▸ AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • ▸ AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
Over 124 students received certification through hands-on training in Microsoft Labs, significantly boosting their technical skills and industry readiness.

The APTO Internship Programme provided students with valuable real-world exposure, enabling them to apply classroom knowledge in professional environments. Participants developed core skills, explored career paths, and gained the confidence needed for success beyond academics.

International Day of Yoga 2025

IILM University, Greater Noida marked the occasion with an energetic campus-wide celebration, where students, faculty, and staff came together to embrace wellness and mindfulness through guided yoga practices.

A community yoga session was held under the Ministry of Ayush's Yoga Sangam 2025 initiative. Led by Mr Pranav Sharma from The Art of Living Foundation, the event reflected the theme "One Earth, One Health", featuring asanas, breathwork, and Yoga Nidra for holistic well-being.

IBM Internship Success

Sidharth Kumar (Batch 2024) secured a prestigious internship with IBM, reflecting his academic excellence and professional readiness.

Asian Boxing Championship Bronze

Abhishek Singh (BBA 2023–2026) won the Bronze Medal at the Youth Asian Boxing Championship 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, showcasing remarkable talent and discipline.

Faculty Achievement

Dr Fouzia Alsabah Shaikh

Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IILM University, Greater Noida, was invited as a resource person at the Faculty Development Programme on Resilient Infrastructure for Inclusive Development organized by National Institute of Disaster Management and Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi.

Her dynamic, hands-on session titled "Empathizing with Disabilities – Understanding Sensory Needs and Strengths" offered powerful insights into sensory integration and inclusive disaster preparedness, inspiring educators to prioritize Preparation over Panic through practical and inclusive strategies.
