Q) Which is better, B. Tech CSE or B. Tech CSE with specializations?
Ans- B. Tech CSE with a specialization is better because, first, the student will have a clear objective for what he/she has to pursue and, second, it will add value to his/her CV at the time of placement. Since at the commencement of the course, the students have some specific target for placements, B. Tech CSE makes them more ready for placements then a simple B. Tech.

Q) Can I apply for admission before the result for my qualifying examination is declared?
Ans- Yes.

Q) Is JEE mandatory for admission in Engineering?
Ans- No, Students can give IILM EAT based on PCM.

Q) Will I get only academic knowledge at IILM or will there be some work-based learning as well?
Ans- The course curriculum is designed as per the current industry requirement. Thus, the subjects that you will study during the 4-year B. Tech program are fully work-based training. For example, Hands-on practice sessions, scenario-based assignments, mini and major projects, industry-oriented projects, research-based projects, summer and winter break internship, industry-academics association, Hackathon, seminars and conferences, etc. will help the student to enhance his/her personal, technical, and intellectual skills.

Q) What about Summer Internship? Do you provide it? If yes, on what basis?
Ans- Yes, IILM provides the Summer Internship to everyone. The criteria for getting a summer internship are defined by the company, and if the student performs very well in the interview and cracks it, then he/she gets the internship. Before that, IILM trains the students through PDP classes and mock interview.

Q) Is there any add-on certification provided by the College apart from the degree?
Ans- Value-add-courses, MOOCs courses, and now ILMx courses. It will be provided according to industry requirements.

Q) Does IILM give 100% placement assurance? How will IILM make you ready for placements?
Ans- IILM will provide opportunities for students to appear in an interview with good companies. IILM provides off-campus and on-campus interviews. It is up to the student how he/she will avail of these opportunities and get a placement. IILM included placement readiness programs in its curriculum like PDP, General Aptitude & Reasoning, Technical Sessions, Mock interviews and mentoring sessions. It also organized industry-interaction programs and invite industry experts to given a current awareness of the industry. Now, it is up to student if he/she are able to ready for 100% placement or not.

Q) When will applications open for the UG/PG programs commencing in 2020?
Ans- Applications for the current admissions cycle are open now.

Q) Where do I get a copy of the application form?
Ans- The IILM’s application form is available online or from campus.

Q) What documents are required at the time of admission process?
Ans- Only a copy of grade 10th/12th/graduation (if applicable) mark sheet, a recent color passport size photograph and photo ID proof.

Q) How and when should I submit these documents?
Ans- These documents are required before interview process; you can scan and send them online or carry them with you on the day of interview.

Q) What is admission process?
Ans- Filling of application (hard copy /online), Short listing of application, Interview, Simulation, Offer Letter and fee structure; Admission after fee payment.

Q) Once I have submitted the application, when will I hear from you?
Ans- Within 24-48 Hrs working hours.

Q) Is there any Age Limit for the Admission?
Ans- Yes, as per eligibility criteria for each program; grant of admission is discretion of the Admission Committee.
Q) Is the registration fee refundable?
Ans- Yes, the registration fee is refundable as per norms.

Q) How do I send in my academic transcripts/mark sheets, other documents and photographs required as part of the application?
Ans- Physically or you may scan/upload the documents as part of the online application form.

Q) Can a student having less than 50% aggregate apply?
Ans- Students below the eligibility criteria will be considered only under special circumstances. Contact admission department for details.

Q) Would the institute assist me in getting my program financed from bank?
Ans- Yes.

Q) What residential facilities would I get as a student of IILM?
Ans- IILM is residential institute for girls and boys.

Q) What are facilities provided to residential students?
Ans- IILM has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. Meals (3 times a day), Wi-Fi, laundry equipment, recreation lounge-with refrigerator and microwave, gym, air conditioned rooms with in-built toilets, RO with 24/7 security.

Q) How can I access IILM, is Public transport available?
Ans- Yes, we are 500 meters away from Knowledge Park II metro station, on the Aqua Line. We have also tied up with various transport companies and their buses come from Delhi NCR to Knowledge Park daily.

Q) Is IILM University recognized by UGC?
Ans- IILM Greater Noida University has been established under the Uttar Pradesh Private State Universities Act. It is recognized by UGC.

Q) Is IILM library well equipped?
Ans- Yes we have a fully air conditioned library with around 33000 books catering to the need of the students.

Q) What is the scope for further studies?
Ans- You can go ahead with higher studies in India and abroad after both the undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses.
