ECELL Activities 2021-2022

1. THE QUICK BUZZ on August 29, 2021

A quiz activity was organized on the zoom platform which was for core and base members of the entrepreneurship club.
It was organized by the presidents of the club. There were approximately 25 members in this activity. The theme of the activity was “ENTREPRENEURSHIP”. It was a fun, informative and engaging activity.

2. HIND UDYAMEE on September 2, 2021

An activity was organized on the zoom platform which was filled with 60 participants, having 2-3 members in each team.
The activity had 3 rounds – Quizipedia , bee buzzer and mind seek drill
In the quizipedia, there was a quiz based on “ Entrepreneurs of India ” , in the Bee Buzzer, there were video, image based questions for each team . and in the mind seek drill , there were situation based questions based on ” entrepreneur of India ” like “ how will you react in this situation as an entrepreneur. Everyone enjoyed it a lot.
It was a fun event as well as an instructive event.

3. DIWALI FAIR on November 1, 2021
An event was organized offline. In this event, participants showed their creative products , food / beverage items, and games .It was an amusing event where everyone enjoyed it a lot.
The main objective of this event was to motivate and inspire the students on how to work on entrepreneurial skills by setting up their own stalls that highlighted sustainability – which included the presentation of the product or service, managing the finances, and getting the customers onboard.
The best stall was awarded with the gift hamper as an appreciation.
The fair was full of different kinds of stalls such as ART, FOOD, GAME which attracted the participants and the guests.
Strong rules were followed during this fair so as to avoid any kind of mishap.
We received a positive response from the audience as well as the students who participated in this Ecolution fair.

3. MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE BY MR. ABHISHEK GUPTA on December 20, 2021
A lecture was organized on the zoom platform by the club on December 20, 2021. There were 80 participants in this session.
The speaker was MR. ABHISHEK GUPTA founder and entrepreneur, Clean India Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
Topics covered in the session were:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • How to develop an entrepreneurial mindset

4. MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE BY MALAK SHAH on January 10, 2022
The speaker of this event was Ms. MALAK SHAH is the startup incubator manager at smart gain incubator. There were 75 participants in the session.

  • Startup
  • Types of a startup
  • Why do we need startups
  • Things come to mind before starting a startup
  • Steps that can help us to start our dream project
  • What is a startup incubators
  • Role of incubators
  • The age of the startup is depending on you…How to generate revenues is on you. How do you manage everything? How do you make relations with investors?

5. AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV on January 11, 2022
It is an online event for the inauguration of e- SYMPOSIUM ON BUILDING INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURIAL ECOSYSTEM IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS on january 11, 2022.
Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was launched by the Government of India to celebrate the existence of 75 years of glorious and progressive India reminiscing its history, applauding its culture, people, and its achievements. The event was initiated on 12th March 2021, having a 75-week countdown to the 75th anniversary. The Ministry of Education and The Ministry of Commerce launched a National Innovation Week beginning from the 10th of January to the 16th of January 2022. Within this week, agencies adopted tons of initiatives to encourage the advancement of entrepreneurship in our country. On the 11th and 12th of January, a two-day E Symposium had been held on Building Innovation Ecosystems. The inauguration was done by the education minister of the state which will take place virtually.

6. IPR AWARENESS PROGRAMME on February 1, 2022
Institute innovation council at IILM University Under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission, Ministry of India, organized a virtual lecture under the umbrella of Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Programme on 1st of february, 2022. The lecture was set to be focused on how various institutions and companies should be proactive in implementing IP solutions to identify nobel innovations and increase revenue.The lecture was attended by over 203 attendees. Dr. Usha Rao, Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, IPO, MoC, GoI, addressed the topic of the lecture, Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Mission. She described intellectual property as an important economic tool and shed light towards how this programme is directed on ensuring that the slogan of the national IPR programme, Creative India-Innovative India is achieved.

7. MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE BY MR. PARUL SONI on february 8, 2022
The speaker of the session was MR. PARUL SONI, .Global Managing Partner of Thinkthrough Consulting and founder and Secretary-General of Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry (ABWCI). Through the lecture, Mr. Soni shared the “Challenges and opportunities in developing a proactive ecosystem for women.
It was organized on the zoom platform which was filled with 55 participants. It was an engaging lecture.

8. AARAMBH on february 21, 2022
An online idea pitching competition was organized on the zoom platform. Around 30 entries were received from 4 campuses of IILM: Gurugram, Lodhi Road, Jaipur and Greater Noida. 10 teams were shortlisted to present in each team there were 2-3 participants.
An each team had to pitched their business idea in front of the jury members-

  • Mr. Kushang- Founder and CEO of supplynote
  • Mr. Karanvir Singh- Founder and CEO of pariksha
  • Prof. Harman Mangat- school of management, IILMU

It was an enlightening event and a fun event where everyone learnt the concept of entrepreneur and how to pitch their business idea. Two teams were selected as winners and were given cash prizes on Rs 4000 and Rs 2000 respectively.
