Dr. Tiwari is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and innovator in Computer Science. With over 22 years of experience in research, teaching, and administration, his contributions have significantly advanced AI-driven education, research, and industry-academic collaborations.

As the Founding Dean of the School of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram, Dr. Tiwari has established a forward-thinking vision, aligning academic programs with NEP2020 and emerging industry trends. His strategic faculty recruitment, curriculum innovation, laboratory development, and collaborations with industry and funding agencies have positioned the school as a hub for cutting-edge computing education and research.

A distinguished researcher, Dr. Tiwari has developed a non-invasive diagnostic tool for diabetic retinopathy using lightweight intelligent applications and fundus photography, funded by BIRAC, DBT, Government of India. His expertise spans Data Analytics, Statistical & Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Visualization.

Having served as an administrator, faculty member, and mentor at institutions like University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, Mody University, Lakshmangarh, and Sharda Group of Institutions, Dr. Tiwari has played a crucial role in accreditation processes, including NAAC, NIRF, NBA, and ABET, ensuring academic excellence and institutional recognition. Beyond academia, he has cultivated strategic alliances with industry leaders such as IBM, Xebia, EC Council, L&T, EY GDS, Intel, Synopsys, Microsoft, AWS, and CompTIA, fostering research collaborations, internships, and experiential learning opportunities.

Additionally, his contributions as an Adjunct Faculty and Research Supervisor for UPGrad’s Data Science Master’s Program in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University, UK, reflect his deep commitment to advancing AI education globally.

He is also serving as a Fellow Member of the CPRG Transforming Society through AI Fellowship at the Center of Policy Research and Governance.
