Associate Professor
Dr. Aarti Chugh is an accomplished academician with over 22 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for B.Tech First Year at the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
Her areas of interest include Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing. She has expertise in core subjects such as Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Linux, and Python. A passionate mentor, Dr. Chugh believes in student-centric teaching methodologies that blend experiential learning with real-world applications.
She has authored over 40 research papers published in reputed national and international journals and conferences, and has actively contributed as a session chair, invited speaker, and reviewer – earning the Elsevier Reviewer Recognition Award.
Dr. Chugh has successfully guided numerous M.Tech theses and B.Tech/MCA projects. She has secured funding from AICTE for organizing an ATAL Online Faculty Development Program and led the celebration of National Technology Day.
Previously, she was an integral part of accreditation initiatives, having served as a member of the accreditation committee and contributing to NAAC and NIRF ranking processes. At her current institution, she recently coordinated the signing of an MoU with Xebia Academy for a B.Tech specialization program in collaboration with Microsoft.
