Dr. Akshat Agrawal holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from UPTU and an M.Tech from USICT, GGSIPU. He earned his Ph.D. from GGSIPU, Delhi, and is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science & Engineering, IILM University, Gurgaon. He previously served at Amity University Haryana for around 14 years, contributing to a total of 16 years of teaching and research experience. His core research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Artificial Neural Networks, Speech Processing, and Image Processing. He has published 59 research papers in SCOPUS- and SCIE-indexed international journals and conferences and has successfully guided 20 M.Tech theses and 42 B.Tech projects. Dr. Agrawal has also been granted three patents for his innovations. He has completed three fully funded international academic visits, which include a visit to the Technical University of Košice, Slovakia in June 2019 under the ERASMUS+ Program, a visit to the University of Nova, Portugal through the CABCIN Project, and a prestigious NCN-funded research visit in May 2023 to Wrocław University of Science & Technology, Poland. He actively contributes to academic peer review processes and has served on the program committees of various international conferences. Additionally, he has edited a special issue on Sustainable Technological Solutions for Next-Generation Intelligent Buildings in Smart Cities for the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Smart Cities, and has edited a total of four books, including one with Wiley and three with IGI Global.
