Mr. Paras Gaur is an accomplished higher-education administrator with nearly two decades of experience in university governance, academic administration, legal affairs, finance, human resources and institutional operations. His strong multidisciplinary academic background – M.Com, MBA (Finance), MBA (HR), CFA and LLB – enables him to bring analytical depth, strategic clarity and administrative precision to all aspects of university functioning.

Throughout his career, Mr. Gaur has led and strengthened a broad spectrum of institutional processes including Legal & Establishment, Regulatory Compliance, Accreditation & Rankings, Examinations & Evaluation, Admissions Governance, Academic Administration, HR & Finance, Policy Development, Budgeting, Student Services, Campus Operations and ERP-based digital transformation. He is widely recognised for establishing transparent administrative systems, enhancing procedural efficiencies and developing robust governance mechanisms.

Mr. Gaur has been instrumental in implementing NEP 2020 aligned reforms, launching new academic programmes, preparing statutory documentation and steering accreditation and quality assurance initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement. He has worked closely with national and state regulatory bodies, ensuring timely compliance with all statutory requirements and contributing to institutional planning and policy formulation.

Prior to joining IILM University, Gurugram, he served in senior administrative positions at Mahindra University, Bennett University, Quantum University and Jaypee University where he played a key role in strategic planning, academic operations, digital governance and cross-departmental coordination.

In his present role as the Registrar, IILM University, Mr. Paras Gaur leads statutory compliance, academic governance, institutional administration, policy implementation and digitalization initiatives within the University. He serves as the Member Secretary of the Governing Body, the Board of Management and the Academic Council. He continues to lead efforts that strengthen institutional integrity, enhance operational effectiveness and promote a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement across the University.
