Prof. (Dr) Ranbir Singh

Legal education at IILM is envisioned as justice education-a powerful instrument for social, political and economic transformation.

The School of Law aims to prepare lawyers who are capable advocates at both the trial and appellate levels, while upholding legal ethics and the rule of law.

The objective is to develop legal professionals who are technically sound, professionally competent and socially conscious, and who contribute meaningfully to access to justice and the protection of constitutional values.

Prof Sujata Bali, PhD (Law)
Dean – School of Law, Gurugram

Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Bali is Dean & Professor of law at IILM Law School, Gurugram. She has diverse teaching and research experience in the field of law. She has previously served as Senior Associate Professor, at UPES School of Law, Dehradun, India. She was Senior Research Fellow (UGC) at Department of Laws, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla, India where she completed her Ph.D. (Law) thesis work on Banking Frauds in India: Emerging Trends and Legal Challenges in 21st Century. She has Master of Laws (LL.M.), specialisation in Corporate Laws and Governance (including International Business Laws) from NALSAR university of law, Hyderabad, India in which her dissertation work was on “Relevance and Prospect of Global Convergence in Corporate Governance: An Indian View”.
