Dr. Alok Aggarwal is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 28 years of experience in Computer Science and Engineering, spanning teaching, academic leadership, research, and software development. He earned his PhD in Mobile Computing from IIT Roorkee (2010), a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (2001), and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (1995).

Dr. Aggarwal began his career as a Software Engineer at Raghav Infotech Limited, Bangalore, in 1995. Over the years, he transitioned into academia, taking on pivotal leadership roles such as Professor & Director at JP Group of Institutions, Professor & Dean at Chandigarh University, Research Convener at JIIT University, Noida, and led IQAC at UPES, Dehradun. In each of these roles, he has played a significant part in driving academic excellence and institutional growth.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Aggarwal has authored over 250 research papers, secured 5 patents, and authored 5 books and 4 book chapters in cutting-edge areas like the IoT, AI/ML, MANETs, Wild-life conservation, and WSNs. His research work has been cited over 2,000 times, with an h-index of 28 and i10-index of 55. He has supervised 12 PhDs while another 5 in progress and more than 50 PG dissertations. He has successfully completed four funded research projects and actively participated in academic conferences, faculty development programs, and seminars.
