Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Kumar Jain is a distinguished academic leader, research mentor, and administrator with over two decades of impactful service in higher education and scientific research. Holding a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee and a prestigious CNRS Postdoctoral Fellowship from France, he brings a global perspective to advanced research in nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, and sustainable materials.

At IILM University, he leads research advancement and student welfare as Dean – Research and Student Welfare. He has guided 8 Ph.D. scholars to completion and is currently supervising 8 more in advanced areas of chemistry and interdisciplinary sciences. Under his leadership, research policy frameworks have been strengthened, and student support systems—including counselling services, student councils, and grievance redressal—have been effectively institutionalized.

Dr. Jain has authored 8 internationally published books and holds 11 patents. He has played a pivotal role in several national and international ranking and accreditation processes, contributing to academic benchmarking, institutional audits, and quality assurance initiatives. He also played a stellar role in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, facilitating curriculum reforms, multidisciplinary integration, and academic innovation during his tenure at Galgotias University.
