Associate Professor
Dr. Shubham Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Sciences at IILM University, Greater Noida. He earned his Master of Science in Mathematics from NIT Jalandhar (2017) and completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Jabalpur in 2024. His doctoral research focused on solving uncertain multiobjective optimization problems using descent-based numerical methods.
Dr. Kumar has qualified CSIR-NET with JRF and GATE in Mathematics, both in 2018. With over seven years of combined experience in teaching and research, he has contributed to the field of optimization and numerical methods through publications and academic engagements. His core areas of interest include pure mathematics, specifically Linear Algebra, Real Analysis, and Complex Analysis, functional analysis as well as mathematical optimization and modeling.
His current work focuses on developing and analyzing algorithms for robust multiobjective optimization under uncertainty. Dr. Kumar has a strong interest in academic writing and interdisciplinary research. At IILM University, he is actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum and research development.
