Mr. Samudra Bagchi, an Electronics Engineer from the 3rd Batch of IET, Lucknow (1990), brings over 35 years of versatile professional experience across engineering, language education, and skills development domains. With a strong foundation in the Electronic Testing and Measuring Instruments industry, he has worked extensively with global technology leaders including Hagenuk (Germany), CATU (France), PROGRAMA (Sweden), and FLIR Systems (USA), contributing over 12 years in serving India’s power sector.

In a transformative career shift, Mr. Bagchi and his wife spent 13–14 years in China, specializing in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Martial Arts, collaborating with native English-speaking educators from the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. He is TEFL/TESOL certified by the American TESOL Institute and has been a respected Foreign Expert in Communication Skills, Soft Skills, and Leadership Training for over 24 years in China and India.

Since returning to India in 2015, he has held leadership roles in skills development:

Head, Training & Development at Ethereal Eduversity (2024–2025), where he conducted classroom training sessions for PGDM & MBA students of NIET and CMAT Business Schools. Currently, Mr. Bagchi is associated with IILM University, Greater Noida as a Professor of Practice.
