The Department of Liberal Arts at IILM University, Gurugram offers Summer Research and Internship Programs designed to provide students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities. These programs allow students to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application through placements with think tanks, NGOs, media organizations, research institutions, and policy bodies.
Under the guidance of faculty and industry mentors, students engage in interdisciplinary projects spanning public policy, communication, psychology, culture, and society. This hands-on experience enhances their analytical thinking, research capabilities, and professional skills, while also expanding their industry exposure and networks.
By integrating academic learning with practical engagement, the program equips students for diverse career pathways and advanced academic pursuits.
The Department of Liberal Arts at IILM University, Gurugram actively fosters global academic engagement through international collaborations, visiting scholars, and strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading universities and industry partners.
These partnerships enable faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, guest lectures, and collaborative academic programs. Visiting scholars from diverse institutions enrich the academic environment by bringing global perspectives into classrooms and research discussions.
Additionally, MoUs with industry organizations facilitate internships, live projects, and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
Through these initiatives, the department strengthens interdisciplinary learning, enhances research capabilities, and prepares students to navigate complex global challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.
