To mark United Nations Day, the GLOBE Club in collaboration with the School of Law organised a Model United Nations session and a Debate & Discussion Forum. The initiative aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of global governance and international law.
The Model United Nations, themed “Global Governance and the Role of International Law in Conflict Resolution,” enabled students to represent countries and deliberate on contemporary international issues, enhancing research, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
The Debate and Discussion Forum focused on “The Relevance of the United Nations in Today’s Changing World Order,” encouraging critical analysis of global institutions and their evolving role in international affairs.
The GLOBE Club – Liberal Arts Chapter organised the “Travel & Dreams” session to introduce students to the global and collaborative dimensions of the liberal arts. The session highlighted how cross-cultural exposure, international learning, and creative exchange shape academic and professional pathways within liberal arts disciplines.
Through discussion and reflection, students gained insights into global opportunities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the role of international perspectives in nurturing imagination, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
The GLOBE–AI Expo, organised by the GLOBE Club – School of CSE Chapter, showcased student-led poster presentations addressing key challenges faced by different countries. Participants proposed innovative artificial intelligence–based solutions, demonstrating the application of technology to global problem-solving.
The exhibition encouraged analytical thinking, cross-disciplinary learning, and an understanding of how AI can contribute to sustainable and inclusive global development.
