
Assistant Professor
Harshita Jain joined IILM University as an Assistant Professor of Law on 15th June 2021. She completed her B.A. LL.B. from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2016 and pursued her LL.M. in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the Indian Law Institute in 2017. In the same year, she qualified the UGC-NET examination.
With over five years of academic experience, her areas of specialization include Evidence Law, Criminal Law, and Human Rights Law. Her research areas also includes Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, International Law and Constitutional Law. She has published more than 10 paper and book chapters. She strongly believes that law is a dynamic and evolving discipline, and therefore continuously updates herself with recent case laws and legal developments to enhance the teaching-learning process. She is committed to fostering analytical thinking and conceptual clarity among students through an engaging and practical approach to legal education.
