Dr. Manish Kumar is an academician, presently working as Professor at School of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram. Dr. Manish Kumar is a distinguished academician with over 24 years of experience in higher education, research, and academic administration. He has also served at Chandigarh Engineering College, CGC, Landran, Mohali, for seven years. Prior to joining CGC, he served at Sharda Group of Institutions, Agra for 10 years. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Department, Dean of Academics, and Professor at reputed institutions across India. He earned his B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in wireless sensor networks, data mining, machine learning, and intelligent computing applications. Dr. Kumar has made significant contributions to research and innovation, with over 50+ publications in national and international journals, multiple conference papers, book chapters, and patents to his credit. He is actively involved in guiding doctoral scholars and promoting interdisciplinary research. He played a key role in securing and maintaining National Board of Accreditation (NBA) from 2022–2025 and contributed to the subsequent accreditation cycle (2025–2027). He successfully coordinated the NAAC accreditation process leading to the institution achieving an A+ grade with a CGPA of 3.42, and also served as the NIRF Coordinator (2020–2025) as well QS IGAUGE coordinator. He also coordinated an AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Program and successfully organized six editions of the International Conference ICCMST, fostering research excellence and academic collaboration.
