BBA Orientation – Deeksharambh 2026

The School of Management, IILM University hosted the Deeksharambh Ceremony (Commencement Day) for the incoming BBA Batch 2026–2030 on 23rd July 2026, at the University Auditorium.

• Inaugural session: Ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, welcome note by Dr Monika Mittal (Dean–BBA), Welcome Address by Dr Ravi Kumar Jain (Officiating Vice Chancellor), and a Commencement Address by Chief Guest Mr Nitin Mishra, Head of Talent Acquisition at Cushman & Wakefield, India
• IT & Cybersecurity briefing — campus digital infrastructure and cybersecurity standards
• Specialisation Concentration Session — BBA career pathways and elective tracks, led by Track Heads
• Social Media Engagement session — university digital platforms and engagement standards
• Incubation & Entrepreneurship session — startup support and campus incubation facilities, led by Dr Sourabh Trivedi
• Examination & Evaluation briefing — academic regulations and assessment criteria

• Industry voice at the very first touchpoint — a Head of Talent Acquisition from a global real estate services firm (Cushman & Wakefield) delivering the Commencement Address signals early, credible industry connection for a UG audience.
• Entrepreneurship is embedded from Day 1, not introduced later — the Incubation & Entrepreneurship session sits right alongside core academic briefings, not as an optional add-on.
• Digital-readiness is treated as foundational — cybersecurity and social media orientation are given dedicated session slots, reflecting a Gen Z-first onboarding approach.
• Specialisation clarity happens immediately — Track Heads directly briefing students on concentrations in week one helps reduce mid-year “wrong specialisation” drop-off.
