DEEKSHARAMBH 2026

The School of Management, IILM University Gurugram hosted the 23rd Commencement Day – Deeksharambh Ceremony for the incoming MBA Batch 2026–2028, running 1st–4th July 2026, with a follow-up Alumni Session on 11th July 2026.

• Day 1: Inaugural ceremony — ceremonial lamp lighting, Saraswati Vandana, addresses by Officiating Vice Chancellor Dr Ravi Kumar Jain and Chancellor Mr Dwarakanath Patnam, Commencement Address by Chief Guest Mr Rajendra Sud
• Day 2: Curriculum introduction, tour of experiential labs (Finance Lab, Personality Transformation Lab, Decision Sciences Lab, Experiential Learning Lab), Decision Science & Business Analytics session, ice-breaking career-goals activity
• Day 3: Mentorship Programme, Placement Readiness Programme, and Personality Transformation Lab introduced; case-study learning session; Clubs & Societies orientation
• Day 4: AI-Enabled Teaching-Learning session (Generative AI, prompt engineering, responsible AI use); FITT–IIT Delhi’s Navachar Mantra innovation awareness session
• 11 July — Alumni Session: Panel discussion, “Beyond Academics: Skills That Differentiate High-Potential Professionals,” featuring alumni from Gartner, Deloitte, Adobe (Pulley Ascent Asia), and Kritivity Web Solutions
• The MBA Bridge Course (Economics, Accounting, Excel, Statistics) ran 6–15 July 2026 to level students’ foundational skills before Semester 1 began

• Analytics and AI are positioned as core MBA literacy, not electives — every student was introduced to Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, R, Python, CESIM simulations, and Generative AI/prompt engineering in the first week.
• Career prep starts Day 1, not final semester — the Placement Readiness Programme is framed explicitly as a year-round initiative beginning at induction.
• Structural innovation in registration — the near-paperless, token-based desk-clearance system processed 216 students across two days without congestion, a model IILM could reuse for other admission events.
• Industry voice built into orientation, not just academics — Alumni from Gartner, Deloitte, and Adobe directly addressing the incoming batch signals strong industry connectivity from day one.
• Holistic development framing — the “MBA Success Formula” (Mentorship = direction, Placement Readiness = preparation, PTL = transformation) is a clean, reusable messaging hook for admissions content.
