What Happened

Rejuven8 – Sports, Wellness & Business Club successfully organised a University-Level Gym Fitness Challenge on 2 September 2026 at the IILM University Gym. Open to students across schools and departments of the University, the event drew 70+ registrations and created a highly energetic platform for strength, endurance, fitness, participation, and healthy competition.

It brought together students from across the University for a series of strength and bodyweight-based events. The competition featured Squats, Bench Press, Deadlifts, Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, and Planks, with participants competing in the applicable categories and being assessed on performance and event-specific criteria. The Rejuven8 student team managed participant registration, event flow, score and repetition recording, coordination of attempts, and on-ground execution under faculty supervision. Mr Jason George from the Student Affairs Office supported the team with planning, student engagement, and on-ground coordination. The atmosphere inside the gym was one of the defining features of the event. Fellow students cheered and encouraged them through heavy attempts, endurance rounds, and close contests. The strong spectator involvement turned the competition into a high-energy university event rather than only a fitness assessment.
