Professor
Dr. Law Kumar Singh is an accomplished academician and researcher, currently serving as Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram. He possesses over 20 years of rich experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Prior to joining IILM University, he served at GLA University, Mathura, Amity University Punjab, Mohali, and Sharda Group of Institutions holding progressively senior academic and administrative positions.
He has a Google Scholar H-index of 31 and a Scopus H-index of 27, reflecting the significant impact and quality of his research contributions. His primary research interests include Medical Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision.
Dr. Singh has made substantial contributions to research, with more than 76 publications, including 32 SCI-indexed journal papers, 10 ESCI/Scopus-indexed journal papers, 8 Scopus-indexed book chapters, and 22 Scopus-indexed conference papers, published by renowned publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, CRC Press, and IGI Global.
His research excellence has been recognised through several prestigious honours, including being listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Elsevier–Stanford, 2025), receiving the Best Researcher Award 2024 from GLA University, and the Best Teacher Award 2022 at the AKTU State Level. He is also the inventor of a granted patent in intelligent computing. Currently, he is supervising three Ph.D. scholars and actively contributes to curriculum development, quality assurance initiatives, and international research committees, while continuing to advance research and innovation in artificial intelligence and intelligent healthcare systems.
