Dr. Preeti Mehta is an academician currently serving as Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram. She has academic, research, and teaching experience across premier institutions including IILM University, National Institute of Technology Delhi, and JC Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA. Her research focuses on computer vision, digital image forensics, multimedia security, machine learning, deep learning, and digital image processing, with particular emphasis on image authenticity and recaptured image detection. She has published research in reputed SCI-indexed journals, IEEE and Springer conferences, and a CRC Press book chapter. She is the recipient of the ANRF International Travel Support (ITS) Grant for DEXA 2026 and currently leads an ACM COMPUTE 2026 Working Group investigating programming competency in the era of Generative AI.
