Dr. Prabu K is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering with over 17 years of academic experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Galgotias University, successfully defended his doctoral work in November 2025. His academic qualifications also include M.Tech (CSE), MBA, and B.Tech (IT).

Dr. Prabu K has a strong research focus on cybersecurity, cloud computing, intrusion detection systems, and AI-driven threat intelligence. He has authored 24 research publications in reputed Scopus and Web of Science–indexed journals and international conferences, contributed two book chapters, and holds 10 patents in areas spanning smart healthcare, IoT, precision agriculture, and intelligent systems. He has also served as Principal Investigator for a seed-funded research project supported by Galgotias University.

In addition to research, he is deeply committed to student-centric teaching and mentoring, having taught core programming and computing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He currently serves as the Time Table Coordinator for the School of Engineering, contributing to effective academic planning and smooth operational execution. He actively contributes to research groups, faculty development initiatives, and innovation-driven activities. His passion lies in integrating emerging technologies with real-world problem solving, fostering both academic excellence and industry relevance.
