The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Entrepreneurship and Family Business is a two-year full-time master’s level program, designed to equip aspiring candidates to become founder of innovation driven enterprise and take up leadership roles in running family owned and managed business. Students who dream to be entrepreneurs require the necessary leadership and functional skills to initiate, run and scale up ventures. Similarly family business owners who aspire to lead their businesses to the next higher level of growth in the digital era economy require diverse skills necessary for managing larger enterprises. OUR CREDENTIALS
The PGDM (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) Program has six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer internship project and immersion with Incubator and Accelerator with scheduled at the end of Year I. In the first two trimesters participants complete fourteen core courses, followed by two core and four flexi core courses in trimester III. In Year II of the program participants complete eight elective and dissertation, apart from completing two core courses. The Entrepreneurship Development Program with successful alumni entrepreneurs who will give practical guidance on setting and scaling up companies. Personal Leadership Program, aimed at preparing students to discover their leadership potential to make a mark in the world. This is more about discovering self.
IILM offers the following specializations in Year II: Entrepreneurship, Family Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Technology, Organizational Effectiveness, Data Analytics and General Management. While Year Iaimsat developing team skills, Entrepreneurship and leadership capability, communication skills, and managerial effectiveness, Year II focuses on equipping students develop domain specific skills that enhances their effectiveness as entrepreneurs or family business leaders.
IILM Incubation Centreactively engages in connecting students with potential venture capitalists and angel investors and collaborators.
At the end of two years, participants will be developing an idea into business plan and pitching to Angel investors and venture capitalists to get the project funded and also get a place in incubator to get the start up going.
The ultimate aim of the programme is to nurture leaders who will go on creating innovation driven enterprises.
