Day 1 was dedicated to formal registration, the Inaugural Ceremony, the Draw of Lots, Exchange of Memorials, and the Researchers’ Test. The highlight was the Keynote Address by Justice Navin Sinha, who provided insights into constitutional values, professional ethics, and the importance of integrity in advocacy. Day 2 marked the commencement of Preliminary Rounds 1 and 2 followed by Quarter-Final Rounds, with eight teams qualifying for the Quarter-Finals from institutions including NMIMS, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Nirma University, and HP National Law University. Day 3 featured Semi-Final Rounds and the Final Round between TC12 (Institute of Law, Nirma University) and TC30 (Asian Law College), with the Institute of Law, Nirma University declared Champion. The Valedictory Ceremony featured addresses by Justice Deepa Sharma and Mr. Tarvinder Singh, followed by award distribution.
Participants appreciated the organised registration process, insightful inaugural addresses, and clear procedural guidelines. The Researchers’ Test and memorial exchange ensured that teams were academically engaged from Day 1, evaluating their ability to analyse legal propositions and demonstrate drafting skills. Students experienced what it means to argue both sides of a legal proposition, developing versatility in legal reasoning. The qualification of teams from premier institutions across India reflected the highly competitive standard of the competition, exposing IILM students to a national peer benchmark. The event provided a platform for experiential learning, courtroom simulation, and professional development, with the presence of distinguished judges adding credibility and prestige.
