A campus placement drive was organised on 17th March 2026 at IILM Gurugram Campus by Warehouse by Mudita — a fashion brand focused on curated lifestyle and sustainable product offerings — for the MBA 2026 batch, with 24 students participating and 3 students successfully shortlisted for the final round of interviews, providing students with exposure to a niche, sustainability-oriented segment of the fashion and lifestyle retail industry.
The recruitment process was conducted by a team of two company representatives from Warehouse by Mudita and structured across three stages — PPT, GD, and HR/Personal Interview — ensuring a systematic and multi-dimensional evaluation of candidates’ suitability for roles within a brand whose identity is defined by curation, lifestyle sensibility, and sustainable product values.
The Pre-Placement Talk delivered by Warehouse by Mudita representatives introduced students to the brand’s identity, product philosophy, and role expectations — providing the contextual understanding necessary for students to meaningfully engage with the recruitment process and assess their own alignment with the company’s values and market positioning.
The Group Discussion round assessed communication skills, critical thinking, and collaborative ability among candidates — competencies of particular relevance to roles in fashion retail and lifestyle brand management, where understanding consumer trends, team-based creative decision-making, and clear articulation of brand values are essential professional requirements.
The drive broadened students’ exposure to the fashion and retail sector as a career destination for MBA graduates, particularly within the growing segment of sustainable and curated lifestyle brands — a category of increasing strategic importance in the Indian and global retail landscape as consumer values shift towards sustainability, authenticity, and conscious consumption.
Twenty-four MBA 2026 batch students gained direct exposure to the recruitment process of Warehouse by Mudita, a fashion brand specialising in curated lifestyle and sustainable products — broadening their understanding of career opportunities in the fashion and retail sector, particularly within the growing market segment of sustainability-oriented consumer brands.
The Pre-Placement Talk provided students with detailed insight into the brand’s identity, product philosophy, and role expectations, enabling them to develop a nuanced understanding of what it means to build a career within a values-driven, sustainability-focused retail organisation — a professional context increasingly relevant as the retail industry undergoes significant transformation.
Participation in the Group Discussion provided students with a competitive, evaluated platform to demonstrate communication fluency, critical thinking, and collaborative engagement — skills directly applicable to brand management, retail strategy, and consumer-facing roles where the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate across teams is a core professional requirement.
Three students achieving shortlisting for the final interview round represented a concrete and motivating placement outcome for the participating cohort, while the broader group of 24 participants gained structured recruitment practice — strengthening their readiness for subsequent placement drives regardless of the immediate outcome of this specific drive.
Engagement with a sustainable fashion brand provided students with a broader, values-informed perspective on business and brand management, enriching their understanding of how purpose-driven business models operate in competitive consumer markets — an increasingly important dimension of contemporary management education and professional practice.
