iFest 2026 was a two-day annual cultural festival at IILM University, Gurugram, that opened with Saraswati Vandana and Ganesh Vandana followed by inaugural addresses — establishing both the cultural reverence and the celebratory spirit that defined the festival’s character across both days, and reflecting the institution’s commitment to honouring tradition alongside creative expression.
Day 1 featured a diverse programme of competitive and performative events including a treasure hunt, basketball, tug of war, badminton, solo and group dance performances, and a fashion show — followed by a high-energy DJ set by DJ Puppeteer that brought the day to a vibrant close, demonstrating the breadth of student talent and competitive energy across both athletic and artistic domains.
Day 2 elevated the festival’s intellectual and entrepreneurial dimensions through events including the I-Flie Shark Tank, Business Quiz, Blindfolded Obstacle Course, Reel Making, Open Mic, and Nukkad Natak — integrating entrepreneurial thinking, social commentary, digital creativity, and performing arts into a single festival programme that reflected the multi-dimensional capabilities of IILM’s student community.
The Nukkad Natak and Open Mic segments of Day 2 specifically brought social issues to life through creative storytelling — reflecting the university’s encouragement of socially conscious artistic expression and providing students with a platform to communicate meaningful perspectives through performance in front of a live campus audience.
iFest 2026 concluded Day 2 with a prize distribution ceremony celebrating top performers across all events, followed by an electrifying DJ/EDM Night featuring DJ Kashish — an event that united the entire student community in shared celebration and created what the report describes as memories of passion and unity, affirming the festival’s role as a cornerstone of campus life and student identity at IILM University.
Students across disciplines participated in a rich and varied two-day festival that combined competitive sports (basketball, tug of war, badminton), intellectual challenges (Business Quiz, Shark Tank, Blindfolded Obstacle Course), and creative performances (dance, fashion show, Open Mic, Nukkad Natak, Reel Making) — developing confidence, teamwork, and cross-disciplinary engagement in a vibrant co-curricular environment.
The I-Flie Shark Tank competition gave students a platform to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and business communication under competitive conditions — an applied learning experience that bridges academic management education with the real-world demands of pitching and defending business ideas before an evaluative audience.
The Reel Making and Open Mic segments developed students’ digital content creation and public communication skills, equipping them with creative storytelling competencies directly relevant to careers in media, communications, marketing, and the creative industries.
The Nukkad Natak brought social issues to life through student-driven theatrical performance — developing students’ capacity for socially conscious creative expression, public speaking, and collaborative storytelling, while reinforcing the value of using artistic platforms to engage meaningfully with real-world challenges.
iFest 2026 as a whole provided students with a shared cultural experience that fostered campus community, celebrated individual and collective talent, and created lasting memories of collaboration and celebration — reinforcing the co-curricular dimension of IILM’s educational philosophy and the vital role of cultural engagement in holistic student development.
