Tasveer Tales was conceptualised to promote visual storytelling, creative observation, and technical photography skills among students, providing them with a competitive and expressive platform that celebrated the art of capturing stories through frames. The competition was structured with clear participation guidelines and submission criteria, a structured judging process based on creativity, composition, originality, and storytelling impact, and a participatory voting system that increased engagement and made the event more inclusive whilst promoting healthy competition among students. Entries were evaluated on creativity and originality, visual composition and framing, storytelling impact, technical quality, emotional or conceptual depth, and relevance to theme — reflecting a comprehensive, multi-dimensional assessment framework. The event witnessed strong engagement, smooth coordination, and enthusiastic response from participants and attendees, with a wide range of entries reflecting thoughtful interpretation, artistic experimentation, and strong storytelling ability across diverse concepts, subjects, and visual styles. Nazariya Club’s efficient teamwork, smooth on-ground coordination, and strong behind-the-scenes execution contributed significantly to the event’s success.
Students developed a deeper understanding of photography as a storytelling medium, focusing on visual composition, framing, and narrative building while expressing ideas creatively. The event enabled students to develop a platform to present creative work publicly, encouraged artistic confidence and visual expression, strengthened photography and storytelling skills, increased student engagement in creative club activities, promoted visual media culture within the department, and encouraged peer learning and appreciation of creative perspectives. The participatory voting system increased engagement and made the event more inclusive while promoting healthy competition. Students also learned by observing diverse perspectives presented by their peers, which enhanced their creative thinking and observational skills. The event reinforced the importance of visual communication and contributed to strengthening student involvement in creative and experiential learning initiatives.
