Dr. Sushma Singh is a distinguished academician and legal professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in teaching, research and litigation. She is currently working as a Professor at the School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Faculty of Law, M.D.U. Rohtak, with her doctoral research focusing on the protection of traditional knowledge under intellectual property laws. Prior to joining IILM University, she served as an Associate Professor at Sharda University.
She is a Certified Mediator, having received formal training under the aegis of the Supreme Court of India and a Certified POSH Trainer, contributing actively to the promotion of safe and equitable workplace environments.
Her academic and professional interests encompass the areas of Intellectual Property Rights, Law of Contract, Mediation and Arbitration, Drafting & Pleading and Professional Ethics. Dr. Singh has published numerous research papers in reputed SCOPUS-indexed and UGC CARE-listed journals. She is the author of three books, has edited four books, and has contributed chapters to many edited volumes. She has also
guided many Ph.D. scholars in their doctoral research.
Deeply committed to the advancement of legal education, Dr. Singh actively participates in faculty development programs, delivers expert lectures at institutions of national repute and regularly engages in national and international conferences. Her multifaceted expertise in law, mediation, and workplace policy continues to enrich both academic discourse and professional practice.
