Dr. Soumya Aggarwal is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at IILM University, Greater Noida, with a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her research focuses on decoding biomolecular interactions, particularly protein–ligand and DNA–ligand systems, using advanced thermodynamic, spectroscopic, and computational approaches to support drug discovery and molecular design.

She has published in leading international journals and received multiple awards for her research presentations. In teaching, she integrates research-driven methodologies to cultivate analytical thinking and innovation among students. As an active member of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), she contributes to promoting interdisciplinary learning, sustainability, and an entrepreneurial mindset in higher education.
