
Assistant Professor
Dr. Bhavana C. Dhoundiyal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur, and is a Silver Medallist in LL.M. (Human Rights) from Amity University, Noida. She completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka.
With over eight years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Dhoundiyal has developed expertise in the areas of Women and Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Family Law, and AI & Democracy. She has published several research papers in Scopus-indexed, Web of Science, and peer-reviewed journals, and has also authored a book on Business Law. In addition, she has contributed to academia as an editor of various law journals and anthologies.
She serves as the Coordinator for the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and has successfully organized two international conferences on IPR in collaboration with international partners. Her academic engagements include presenting research papers at reputed national and international forums such as Lund University (Sweden), the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai, and Bennett University.
Dr. Dhoundiyal has been honoured with several recognitions, including the Bharat Excellence Award, the Young Researcher Award (InSc), and the Best Research Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference for Women Researchers. She has also actively contributed to the moot court ecosystem as an IBOR member for national and international moot court competitions, including the prestigious Telders International Law Moot Court Competition conducted by Leiden University, Netherlands.
She is currently serving as the Chief Editor of Nyayadeep Shiksha Law Journal and as the Assistant Editor of the IILM Law Journal. She also serves as the Internship and Placement Coordinator of the School of Law
