
Assistant Professor
Dr. Vijaya Choudhary is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University. Before that, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Galgotias University. She has 15 years of teaching and research experience. She has completed her Ph.D.- Engineering Science from AcSIR-CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. She secured M. Tech-CSIT from IIEST, Shibpur, and B. Tech-CSE from RIMP-IET. Her expertise in NAAC accreditation, NBA standards, curriculum design, and evaluation methods based on Bloom’s Taxonomy contributes to creating a well-structured and impactful learning ecosystem for students. Dr. Choudhary has published more than 20 research articles in SCI-indexed journals, peer-reviewed conferences, and edited book chapters. She has contributed to robotic design research under a DST-funded project by the Government of India and is actively involved in multidisciplinary design and development, particularly in establishing deep learning models. Her research interests include Computer Vision, Agricultural Imaging, Deep Neural Networks, and Image Processing. Her work in deep learning-based agricultural imaging has significantly contributed to the advancement of smart agriculture. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Best Researcher Award from Elsevier. She is a member of the IEEE (Women in Engineering, UP Section) and ACM.
