Akash Bhasney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Greater Noida. He is dedicated to teaching, research, and academic mentoring, with a strong focus on developing students’ technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, and completed his Postgraduate degree in Information Security and Cyber Law, from IIIT Allahabd providing him with a strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity, and information assurance.

His research interests primarily focus on Lightweight Cryptography for Resource-Constrained IoT Devices, IoT Security, Network Security, and Applied Cryptography. His work emphasizes the design and analysis of lightweight cryptographic algorithms for energy-efficient and secure communication in next-generation IoT environments.
