
Assistant Professor
Rahul Maurya is an Assistant Professor at IILM University, Greater Noida, with an academic and professional background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Science. He holds an M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur and a B.Tech. from the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal, a Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI). His academic interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Multimodal Learning, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Artificial Intelligence.
Before joining academia, Rahul worked as a Project Engineer at Wipro Ltd., where he contributed to application support and backend development projects for HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel. He also worked on the DigiYatra platform for Noida International Airport, contributing to REST services, facial recognition API integration, and automated check-in and baggage-drop systems.
His research and project experience includes multimodal AI, computer vision, and machine learning applications. He secured All India Rank 9 among 82,000+ teams in the Amazon ML Challenge 2025, where he developed an ensemble-based multimodal architecture using CoCa and SigLIP embeddings for product price prediction. He has also worked on e-commerce product attribute prediction using CLIP and ConvNeXt architectures.
Rahul has also qualified GATE Computer Science Engineering 2024 with a decent All India rank and get admission into IIT Jodhpur, demonstrating a strong foundation in Computer Science and related technical disciplines.
Rahul is passionate about teaching and mentoring students and aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry applications through practical, technology-driven education.
