Professor (Dr.) Leena Arya is a highly accomplished academic and research leader and Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Greater Noida, with nearly 19+ years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She holds a PhD from IIT Roorkee, awarded in August 2012, and has established a strong national and international academic presence through high-impact publications, patents, a DST research project, and editorial responsibilities. Her core expertise includes Computer Networks, Wireless Communication, Network and Infrastructure Security, IoT, and Cybersecurity, with a proven ability to translate advanced theoretical concepts into industry-aligned, real-world applications. She has authored 12 SCI/SCIE Q1 & Q2 journal papers and 55+ Scopus publications out of 80 research contributions in reputed journals, conferences, and Scopus-indexed book chapters.
Dr Arya is a DST Women Scientist Fellow (Principal Investigator) awarded under the Women Scientist Scheme for the period 2009-2012. and an inventor of UK and Australian Government–granted patents, reflecting the innovation and societal relevance of her research. She has also received the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award, underscoring the originality and impact of her doctoral work. Got the Research Appreciation Award for contributions to article and Book chapter publications in 2024 and 2025.
In addition to teaching and research, she has held key academic leadership and administrative roles, including Department Coordinator and M.Tech. Program Coordinator, Deputy Superintendent of Examinations, and Organising Secretary for national conferences and workshops. She has served as Associate Editor-in-Chief, session chair, and reviewer for several IEEE journals and conferences, as well as international journals and conferences, reinforcing her standing in the global academic community.
