
Assistant Professor
Tatsita Mishra is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the School of Management at IILM University, Greater Noida. She earned her Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) from MICA, Ahmedabad, and was a Visiting Fellow at Lund University, Sweden, in 2025. She holds an M.A. in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, and a B.A. in Psychology, English Literature, and Communication Studies from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. An interpretive consumer researcher, Tatsita works at the intersection of Consumer Culture Theory, digital cultures, feminist technocultures, and media anthropology. Her research examines how emerging technologies reshape consumption, identity, intimacy, and everyday life. Her work has appeared in ABDC A-ranked and Scopus Q1 journals, including Media, Culture & Society and Electronic Commerce Research. She has presented at international academic forums including the American Marketing Association Summer Academic Conference (Chicago, 2025); NETNOCON (Marseille, 2025); the Global Digital Intimacies Conference at the University of Amsterdam (2024); the ReDMIL Summer School at UCLouvain, Belgium (2024); the Asia-Pacific Association for Consumer Research Conference (Bali, 2024); and the Marketing, Strategy and Policy Conference (UK, 2023). During her 2025 research visit to Lund University, she focused on intimacy, gender, and technology. Her interdisciplinary expertise has led to invitations to academic panels and public-facing scholarly conversations, including "AI, Desire, Intimacy: Feeling through Machines" with InclusiveAI Labs and Utrecht University; UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Week at MICA; and a Lund University roundtable on "The Politics of Gender in Transnational Contexts.
" Her work has been recognised with the MICA FPM Research Excellence Award (2026, for the 2024-25 academic year), the Best Doctoral Paper Award at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (2025), the Best Methodology Paper Award at the Marketing, Strategy and Policy Conference (2023), and a NETNOCON Research Scholarship (2025). Committed to qualitative inquiry and interdisciplinary learning, Tatsita teaches and researches across Consumer Culture Theory, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Media Communications, and Qualitative Research Methods. Beyond academia, she enjoys cinema, philosophy, literature, travel, and contemporary cultural life.
