What Happened

Deeksharambh 2026, the UG & PG Orientation Programme of the School of Computer Science & Engineering (SCSE), IILM University Greater Noida, was organised from 11–13 August 2026, creating an engaging and inspiring beginning for the incoming batch of 2026.
The three-day programme brought together university leadership, distinguished industry professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, academicians and students. The orientation was designed to familiarise students with the university ecosystem while encouraging them to think beyond academics and develop the skills, confidence and mindset required for their future.

Each day began with “Enlighten with Leaders”, featuring the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, felicitation of dignitaries and addresses by university leadership. The sessions provided students with perspectives on academic excellence, personal growth, career planning, leadership and the opportunities awaiting them at IILM.

The leadership interactions were followed by a series of expert sessions addressing future-ready careers, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry expectations. Experts from organisations including Conduent, TCS, IBM, Hexaview Technologies, UP Institute of Design, Innovation Hub UP and Beyond Next Ventures interacted with students and shared industry-oriented perspectives.

One of the most significant highlights of Deeksharambh 2026 was the special session with Mr. Anand Kumar, Founder of Super 30, on Day 3, 13 August 2026.

The 2 Hour special session offered students an opportunity to engage with a nationally recognised educator and social entrepreneur whose journey has become synonymous with perseverance, determination, and the transformative power of education.

For students standing at the beginning of their university journey, the interaction provided an especially meaningful motivational experience. His journey through Super 30 offered a powerful perspective on overcoming challenges, believing in one’s potential, remaining committed to one’s goals and using education as a pathway to transformation.

The session added a strong inspirational dimension to the orientation and encouraged students to approach their years at IILM University Greater Noida with confidence, resilience, ambition and purpose.

Beyond the formal sessions, students participated in a diverse range of experiential activities including personal growth, communication and presentation skills, team building, Talent Hunt, poster designing, storytelling, technical charades, Pictionary, an EV showcase and visits to student clubs and societies.

The orientation also included special sessions by YourDOST and ICICI Lombard, adding dimensions of student well-being, awareness and support.

The extended orientation experience continued on 14 August 2026 with a Cultural Club performance and DJ Night.
