Dr. Abhishek Toofani is an Assistant Professor at IILM University, Gurugram, with over 10 years of experience in academia, research, and technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, with research focused on Knowledge-Based Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) Systems. His research interests include Explainable AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Medical AI, Computer Vision, and Trustworthy AI. His work focuses on developing interpretable and reliable AI systems that make complex model decisions more transparent and understandable. He is also expanding his research into Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents. At IILM University, he teaches and mentors students in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related computing disciplines, while encouraging research-driven learning and innovation. His professional experience also includes academic technology development, institutional IT management, and interdisciplinary research collaboration.
