Dr. Amit Kumar is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering, IILM University with over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He holds Ph. D (CSE) from National Institute of Technology Patna and M. Tech (SE) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad.
He has actively contributed to academic administration and research activities. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Medical Imaging. He has published several research papers in reputed journals and international conferences, authored book, and patent. He has contributed as a reviewer in various international journals, and served as a session chair in international conference.
He actively contributes to academic quality enhancement, Outcome-Based Education, research mentoring, and faculty development program. His professional journey reflects a strong integration of teaching, research, innovation, and academic leadership.
