Dr. Diksha Ruhela is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University. She is an academician and researcher specializing in Computer Architecture, Quantum Computing, Optical Computing, Reversible Logic Design, and LowPower VLSI Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Architecture Design with specialization in Quantum and Optical Computing from Delhi Technological University (DTU). She has also completed her M.Tech. in VLSI & Embedded Systems from DTU and B.Tech. in Electronics &Communication Engineering. She has qualified UGC-NET JRF, UGC-NET, and GATE. Dr. Ruhela has teaching experience in diverse areas of Computer Science and Engineering,
including Computer Architecture, Digital System Design, Quantum Computing, Computer Networks, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Digital Logic Design, C Programming, and Object-Oriented Programming. Her academic experience also includes mentoring student projects, developing course plans and assessments, and supporting Outcome-Based Education initiatives. Her research interests encompass Quantum Computing, Optical Computing, Reversible Logic Design, Computer Architecture, Low-Power VLSI Systems, FPGA-Based System Design,Embedded Systems, Emerging Computing Technologies, and AI Hardware Accelerators.Her research focuses on the development of energy-efficient and next-generation computing architectures, particularly using reversible and optical computing approaches. Dr. Ruhela has published research in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences. Her research contributions include RSOA-based reversible optical logic, alloptical reversible multipliers, and low-power reversible computing using Vedic multiplication. In addition to teaching and research, she has contributed to research coordination, curriculum planning, academic administration,accreditation, and quality assurance activities, including CO-PO attainment analysis and OBE implementation. She has also participated in faculty development programs and specialized training in Data Science, Quantum and Reversible Logic Circuits, and Quantum Algorithms. Dr. Ruhela is committed to quality teaching,
interdisciplinary research, innovation, and the advancement of emerging computing technologies, with a particular interest in developing sustainable and energy-efficient computing solutions.
