Dr. Krishan Kumar is an Associate Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, and Precision Agriculture. He has extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic administration, student mentoring, research, and academic quality enhancement. He has 17 years of research experience, has guided 30+ postgraduate projects, and has contributed to research publications in IEEE, Springer, international conferences, and peer-reviewed journals. His profile also highlights 40+ patent applications/developments across areas including AI, IoT, agriculture, cybersecurity, intelligent systems, and emerging technologies. His academic leadership experience includes curriculum development, course revision, assessment and question-paper moderation, Course Outcome and Bloom’s Taxonomy mapping, faculty coordination, student mentoring, and quality assurance activities. He has served as a member of the Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) and Department Quality Assurance Committee (DQAC). Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, with research focused on Internet of Things in Precision Agriculture using Machine Learning, along with an M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
