
Associate Professor
Dr. Nazia Tabassum is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering, IILM University with over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She holds Ph.D (CSE) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, M.Tech (CS) from Jamia Hamdard, BE(CSE) from Ranchi university and Diploma in Computer Engg. from AMU, Aligarh. She has demonstrated outstanding academic excellence throughout her career, being the College Topper in B.E (CSE) and M.Tech (CS).
She has actively contributed to academic administration, accreditation, and research activities through roles in NIRF, NBA and NAAC. She was also PAQIC member (Programs Assessment and Quality Improvement Committee) in her previous organization. She has organized and coordinated DST sponsored FDPs and WEPs and coordinated University outreach programs. She actively serves as a reviewer for Springer, IEEE and other International conferences.
Her research interests include Quantum Computing, Quantum Machine Learning, Reciprocal Recommendation systems. She has published several research papers in reputed journals and international conferences, authored book, book chapters and patent.
Her current academic vision is to contribute to the advancement in the domain of Quantum Computing by developing scalable, efficient, and practically deployable quantum algorithms that address contemporary challenges in machine learning, healthcare and intelligent computing
