Assistant Professor (English)
Dr. Prachi Ratra holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Her research engages deeply with the cultural and historical complexities of South Asia, with particular focus on Partition studies, memory studies, trauma studies, and broader South Asian literary and cultural narratives. She has published her work in various peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed journals, contributing to academic conversations around displacement, identity, and collective memory.
In addition to her research, Dr. Ratra has assisted with NPTEL courses related to communication, contributing to content development and academic support. Her work often bridges literary analysis with interdisciplinary approaches to trauma and history, and she remains committed to producing research that is both critically rigorous and socially relevant.
