Dr. Prachi Ratra holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Her research engages deeply with the cultural and historical complexities of South Asia, with particular focus on Partition studies, memory studies, trauma studies, and broader South Asian literary and cultural narratives. She has published her work in various peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed journals, contributing to academic conversations around displacement, identity, and collective memory.

In addition to her research, Dr. Ratra has assisted with NPTEL courses related to communication, contributing to content development and academic support.
