She has earned her Ph.D. from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, with a strong research focus on advanced image processing and reconstruction techniques. Her core areas of expertise include medical image reconstruction, and the secure transmission of medical images over telemedicine networks.

In the area of healthcare technology, she has contributed significantly to the secure and privacy-preserving transmission of medical images, focusing on data confidentiality, integrity, and protection of sensitive patient information.
