Dr. Sam A. Masih is working at IILM-Greater Noida as Professor of Biotechnology and Associate Dean, School of Engineering. Prof. Masih is a dedicated academician and renowned researcher with special focus on stress biology, renewable energy and water remediation. He has keen interest in policy framework of interdisciplinary research and innovation. Prof. Masih has studied B.Tech. Biotechnology, M. Tech. Biotechnology followed by Ph.D. Biotechnology and MBA in Human Resource.
He is author of over 60+ research/review publications of high impact in reputed International and National Journals along with a Registration of Design granted by Patent Office, GoI. Dr. Masih was selected twice for prestigious Summer Research Fellowship twice during 2011 and 2012 by National Academy of Science (Government of India). Prof. Masih has successfully completed government funded research projects worth of 2.25+ Cr. Apart from this, Dr. Masih has characterized 18 bacterial isolates and successfully submitted their sequence at National Center for Biotechnology Information, USA. His lab has isolated and characterized several novel bacterial isolates with industrial and agricultural significance and were accepted by CSIR-GoI (National repository).
