Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Saxena is currently serving as Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at IILM University, Greater Noida, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur and possesses more than 17 years of academic, research, and administrative experience in higher education.

Dr. Saxena’s primary research interests include Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Privacy Preservation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Distributed Systems. His research contributions focus on secure cloud architectures, access control mechanisms, blockchain-enabled healthcare systems, AI-driven security solutions, and next-generation intelligent systems.

He has successfully supervised one Ph.D. scholar and is currently guiding multiple doctoral researchers in emerging areas such as Deep Learning, AI-driven Banking Infrastructure, and Smart Agriculture Systems. He has authored and edited several technical books published by reputed international publishers including Springer, Wiley-IEEE Press, CRC Press, IGI Global, S. Chand, and BPB Publications. Dr. Saxena has published more than 50 research papers in reputed SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences, with publications in prestigious journals including IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, Scientific Reports, SoftwareX, Wireless Personal Communications, Array, and Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory.

Dr. Saxena has actively contributed to the global academic and research community as a Keynote Speaker, Conference Chair, Session Chair, Program Committee Member, Reviewer, and Editorial Board Member for various international conferences and journals published by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and other reputed publishers. He has participated in and organized numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and international conferences in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing.

He is also an accomplished innovator with multiple Indian and international patents in areas such as AI-based surveillance systems, IoT-enabled healthcare, smart automation systems, and blockchain applications. His dedication to academic excellence extends to curriculum development, accreditation activities (NAAC and NBA), Outcome-Based Education (OBE), institutional quality assurance, and student innovation initiatives.

Dr. Saxena serves as Adjunct Faculty and Thesis Supervisor at Liverpool John Moores University. He has previously held leadership positions including Professor & Head of Department at leading engineering institutions in India. His administrative expertise includes department development, academic planning, accreditation coordination, industry collaborations, research mentoring, and innovation ecosystem development.

A Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Dr. Saxena is also associated with professional bodies such as the Computer Society of India (CSI), Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI), and IAASSE. He continues to mentor research scholars, guide student projects, and contribute extensively toward advancing research and innovation in emerging technologies.
