
“Dr. Shalini Patel is an academician and researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram. Her research focuses on microwave-based biomedical sensing, metamaterials, antenna engineering, and intelligent healthcare technologies. She has developed and experimentally validated novel microwave sensors for non-invasive biomedical applications, including blood protein monitoring, glucose sensing, biological liquid characterization, and tumour detection. Her work integrates microwave engineering with machine learning to develop intelligent, portable, and cost-effective healthcare solutions.
Dr. Patel has published several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, contributing to advancements in microwave sensing and biomedical engineering. Her research aims to bridge the gap between engineering innovations and practical healthcare applications through interdisciplinary collaboration and technology development.
