Dr. Sumit Kumar is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, IILM University, Greater Noida. With over 19.5 years of teaching and research experience, he has worked at various institutes, including ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad. He has been a coordinator of the All-India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). He has also been a faculty mentor in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) since 2019. Under his mentorship, one team won the first prize of Rs.one lac in SIH-2022 at Coimbatore. Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Kak presented him with the Excellence Award for Best Teaching and Learning Practices in April 2012. (Vice Chancellor MTU).

Dr. Sumit Kumar earned his Ph.D. in CSE from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, along with M. Tech in CSE and B. Tech in CSE. He has published 18+ research papers in reputed journals and conferences, including SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed publications, and authored one book on” Establishing AI-Specific Cloud Computing Infrastructure”. His research interests include Theory of Computation, Finite State Testing using Graphical User Interface, and Artificial Intelligence.
