Mr. Arun Mittal is an experienced Computer Science & Engineering academician with 19 years of teaching, academic administration, industry, and research experience. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Teerthanker Mahavir University,Moradabad, registered in 2023.He holds an M.Tech. in CSE from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, with 78.77% and a Gold Medal, an M.Tech. in Information Technology from KSOU, Mysore, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science& Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. His areas of teaching and research interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Python Programming, Data Analytics, and Database Management Systems. Throughout his academic career, he has held several key responsibilities including Academic Coordinator, Program In-charge, M.Tech. Coordinator, Deputy HOD, Examination Coordinator, Placement Coordinator, Project Coordinator, DQAC IN-charge, NBA/NAAC Coordinator, Hackathon Coordinator, Mentor Coordinator, Time Table In-charge and Tableau Lab In-charge. He has also contributed to ICTE/NBA/NAAC accreditation, IQAC activities, Academic planning, examinations, admissions, placements, and institutional development.
His research contributions include 30 publications in IEEE conferences, journals, Book Chapters, Patents and other National/ International Conference Proceedings with research work focusing on AI, Machine Learning, Plant Disease Identification, Medical Imaging, Explainable AI, Blockchain, Big Data, GANs, and Anomaly Detection. He has also contributed to multiple patent applications, including an AI-based heart observation device and an AI-based solar-assisted groundwater quality prediction device. He has guided four M.Tech. theses under Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University along with numerous undergraduate projects. He has also participated in several FDPs, workshops, and professional certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Cyber Security, Robotics, Generative AI, and emerging technologies.
