Gaurav Nagarkoti is an Assistant Professor at IILM University in CSE , bringing over 12
years of combined experience in academia and software development. His teaching career
includes roles at Galgotias University, G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management, Greater Noida
Institute of Technology, and JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus,
complemented by earlier industry experience at Adore Infotech and Shriv Com Media
Solutions.
Gaurav holds an MCA from Uttar Pradesh Technical University and an M.Tech in Computer
Science & Engineering from Kalinga University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Graphic
Era Hill University, Dehradun. His technical grounding lies in C/C++, VC++, and VoIP/SIP
protocols, developed through early work on softphone applications.
A prolific researcher, Gaurav has authored numerous publications indexed in SCIE, Scopus,
and IEEE, and holds multiple patents covering machine learning, IoT, deep learning, and
cybersecurity applications—including systems for smart traffic management, facial emotion
detection, DDoS attack detection, and IoT-enabled healthcare. His research interests center on
artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their real-world applications.
Outside his academic pursuits, Gaurav is committed to continuous learning and brings a
disciplined, positive approach to both his professional and personal endeavors.
